“Fishing in Schools” Teacher Training Certification

“Fishing in Schools” Teacher Training Certification

will be offered beginning on Sunday, July 14th at 10:00 am at JMU in Harrisonburg. This 8 hour training will cover both the “Cast A Fly, Catch A Student” Curriculum using fly rods and the “Cast A Lure, Catch A Student” Curriculum using spinning rods. The training will cover the all-inclusive programs from equipment, knots, casting, fishing, conservation and more. There will also be an opportunity to get on the water, apply the skills you learned and catch some fish the following morning! Your school may be eligible for a complete NFSP Curriculum Kit via limited grants.
